Ingredients

  • 3 vine-ripe tomatoes

  • 1 pound fresh BUF mozzarella

  • (sliced 1/4-inch thick)

  • herbs on hand, such as leaves of

  • fresh basil cut into 1-inch pieces

  • balsamic vinegar

  • extra-virgin olive oil

  • coarse salt and pepper

Instructions

1. On a large platter, layer alternating slices of tomatoes and BUF mozzarella, adding herbs such as a basil leaf between each. 2. Once assembled, drizzle the salad with extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. 3.Season with coarse salt and pepper.
